The philosophy behind this foundation is that a good education is very important in order to excel in life.

Sparx and Lorenzo Antonio believe that everyone should have the opportunity to attain a higher education. In 2001, they created the Sparx & Lorenzo Antonio Scholarship to provide and encourage higher education for New Mexico high school seniors.

Our Mission

The primary purpose of the Sparx & Lorenzo Antonio Scholarship is to provide and encourage higher education for New Mexico high school seniors, by helping to lessen the financial burden of going to college.

The Artists

Lorenzo Antonio began singing and playing the guitar at the early age of 5. By the time Lorenzo was 12 years old, he had already sold over a million records. By the time he was 17, he was known internationally throughout all of the Americas.

Lorenzo Antonio has toured Mexico, the United States, Central America, and South America. He has been awarded many platinum and gold records for both singing and song writing. He is the older brother of the other half of this foundation, Sparx.

This talented group of young ladies started singing and dancing when the youngest was just 4 years old. They have sold over a million CD's and they have toured extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Sparx has also reached the charts of Billboards top selling Latin Albums, been nominated for Billboard awards, Premio Lo Nuestro a la musica Latina, and have been awarded many platinum and gold records.

Sparx and Lorenzo Antonio passionately believe that the power of music and entertainment truly can make a difference in people's lives. This is one of the reasons they created The Sparx & Lorenzo Antonio Foundation.

A Brief History

In the year 2000, Sparx and Lorenzo Antonio decided that they wanted to do something to express their thanks to the New Mexico community that has shown them so much support throughout their careers. They have always believed that a good education is very important in order to excel in life. After long discussions, they decided that they wanted to create a scholarship for New Mexico students.
